Our occupational hygiene courses are available at a range of different levels – foundation, intermediate, academic and leadership – and are designed to outline the extensive principles of occupational hygiene as the basis for the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of hazards that can be encountered in the workplace.

Why Us

OHMS Training was formed to promote better standards of occupational hygiene training.


OHTA provides the Foundation and Intermediate courses, with the Intermediate courses providing an international qualifications’ scheme in a modular design, where you can take the courses over a time that suits you.

The BOHS also provides Intermediate courses on the assessment and management of asbestos under their International Proficiency 400 Series training courses.

We are approved by the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) and the Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA) to deliver courses and, as such, our training can lead to an international qualification in hygiene that is supported by IOHA and the (AIOH).

Additionally, OHMS Training is approved by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) to teach their international proficiency courses in asbestos.
